Why The Table?
Sadly, too many people have found the American church to be a stumbling block rather than a stepping-stone to authentic faith. Much of American Christianity has lost sight of the real goal of the Christian life, which is to grow in maturity and love for God and others. The mission statement of the Church of the Nazarene “to make Christ like disciples in the nations” provides direction for the thrust of The Table as we share examples of people and congregations who model authentic discipleship.
